 Snickerdoodle didn't know what to do. Then, he thought of the perfect answer for both their problems. He said, "Stop crying Brownie and listen to me. I'll kneel down so you can hop up onto my back. Then, we can go to the BIG party together. I was too shy to go alone, but with you on my back, I won't be shy or alone." Brownie sat up wiping his tears and said hopefully, "You will? You'll carry me to the BIG party. Yes, yes, let's try and see if I can hop onto your back." Snickerdoodle knelt down as Brownie struggled up slowly. With a mighty heave, Brownie lunged up onto Snickerdoodle's back. |
